About the Author

The author of this blog, Ted Carter, is a former sea-captain, professional wanderer, and published poet who settled permanently in New Orleans. A book of Ted’s poetry titled Aphrodite was recently released by Skarlet Press/Skarlet Ink, and is available at McKoewn Books in New Orleans. It may also be ordered directly from the printer in either hardcopy or e-book format.

    It is not just with an interest and reserved curiosity that I read over the blog lines above, but again after sharing many chats I have more than vignette to compare against. In reviewing over the stories and images of past what was once recorded in situ now confronts the words that stay and I have another regard to ponder.

    I am pressed to drive ahead and share more as the example here encourages.
